Croatian boxer Filip Hrgović continued his winning streak with a dominant performance, securing a significant victory in his professional career. Hrgović defeated the local fighter David Allen via technical knockout in the third round at Doncaster, England.

Allen was unable to respond to the powerful attacks of the Croatian heavyweight, who controlled the bout from the start and dominated his opponent before the home crowd.

The difference in quality was evident, leading Allen's corner to stop the fight to prevent a more serious injury to his boxer.

This was Hrgović's jubilant 20th professional victory, with his only loss still being against Danish boxer Daniel Duboe in 2024. Additionally, it was his third consecutive triumph following that defeat. Interestingly, this was Hrgović's first bout since August last year, when he defeated David Adeleje.

Meanwhile, David Allen recorded his ninth professional loss, with 25 wins and two draws to his name.

Aside from the significant victory, Hrgović also reaped substantial financial rewards. According to British media reports, the Croatian boxer earned approximately £500,000 for his triumph in Doncaster.

Even David Allen fared well financially, reportedly earning between €450,000 and €680,000 for the bout.

Talks of Hrgović's next big challenge are already underway, with increasing mentions of a potential match against undefeated British talent Moese Itaume.

The young boxer will headline a major event at the London O2 Arena on August 8, and it is rumored that Filip Hrgovi/ć could be his opponent in the main event of the evening.
