Cristiano Ronaldo, the 41-year-old captain of Portugal, has been named in the World Cup squad by manager Roberto Martinez for the 2026 tournament. This will mark Ronaldo's sixth consecutive World Cup, with his first appearance dating back to 2006.
The final list, consisting of 27+1 players, pays tribute to Diogo Jota, who passed away last year, with the additional player slot.
