Romanian coach Cristi Chivu celebrated Inter Milan’s Serie A and Coppa Italia titles alongside his family. Joined by his wife Adelina and their two daughters, Chivu took to the San Siro to take pictures with the trophies.

On May 17, 2026, Inter Milan clinched the Italian league title, drawing 1-1 with Verona in their final match of the season. This victory followed their triumph in the Coppa Italia, where they defeated Lazio 2-0 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome on May 13.

Chivu, 45, became the man of the moment in Italy after leading Inter to these victories in his first season as head coach. His daughters and wife were present at San Siro to share in the triumph.

The last three matches of the season were essentially meaningless for Inter as they had already secured the league title with a victory over Parma. However, the match against Verona was special as Inter presented their trophies 10 days after winning them.

Chivu dedicated the victory to all Inter fans worldwide and his family. "I don’t need congratulations; I know who I am and what I bring. Leave the talking to others! I care about the team, the club, and these wonderful people," Chivu said, according to Sos Fanta.
