Yang Hyun-jun, the South Korean winger, has signed a new contract with Celtic, binding him to the club until 2030. The 23-year-old joined from Gangwon FC in 2023 and has since become a key player for Celtic, making 111 appearances and scoring 17 goals.

Yang's Commitment to Celtic

"I love this club and my future is here," Yang told Celtic TV. "I'm happy, and though the season was a little bit hard, we are champions and hopefully next season it will be easier." He also expressed his desire to improve his performance in European games.

Manager Martin O'Neill's Comments

Manager Martin O'Neill shared his satisfaction with Yang's new contract. "I'm absolutely delighted because on transfer deadline day he was down at Birmingham City, so I'm pleased that didn't go through." O'Neill highlighted Yang's ability to perform under pressure, his bravery, and his significant contributions to big moments for the club.

"He's super and he's worked his way back into the South Korean squad," O'Neill concluded.
