Dinamo, the third-ranked team in Divizia A1 women's volleyball, has announced the signing of Bulgarian international Petya Barakova. Barakova, who has a CEV Champions League final appearance on her resume, will be joining the team from Ştefan cel Mare for the upcoming season.

New transfer to the women's team! Petya plays as a coordinator and is moving from the Bucharest club, having previously played for CSM Bucharest.
Originally from Bulgaria, Petya brings extensive experience, having won numerous medals in various championships in France, Bulgaria, Poland, Israel, Kazakhstan, and Switzerland.
In Romania, she has played for Lugoj, Târgoviște, and Blaj, where she reached the Champions League final in 2018!
With the Bulgarian national team, she has won the Golden League twice, in 2018 and 2021, in addition to participating in the CE and CM.

Dinamo's Record in Romanian Volleyball
Dinamo, the reigning champions, secured their 20th title in Divizia A1 men's volleyball, a record for the country. In the decisive match of the best-of-five series, the Ştefan cel Mare team triumphed over Arcadei Galați with a score of 3-2 (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 17-25, 15-13) after a dramatic match lasting over two and a half hours!
MVP Mircea Peţa scored 22 points, Petar Premovic 19, Christian Fromm 18, while from Arcada, David Dinculescu led with 16 points, Vasyl Tupchii with 18 points, and Marian Bala with 13 points.
