Georgi Lilov of Bulgaria secured a silver medal at the ISKA European Kickboxing Championships held in Heilbronn, Germany. The event, which featured over 1200 participants from various European countries, saw Lilov, William Martin, and Antonio Moreno Martin of Sorria Club make a strong showing.
Lilov won the silver medal in the Light Contact category up to 80 kg, demonstrating exceptional skills throughout the tournament, overcoming several elimination rounds against some of the continent's top athletes.
William Martin also excelled, securing a third-place finish in the Light Contact up to 63 kg category, while Antonio Moreno Martin reached third place in the K1 Light up to 75 kg category. These achievements secured their places in the upcoming World Championships, marking a significant milestone for the Sorria Club athletes.
The competition, organized by the International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA), featured a range of disciplines including K1 Rules, Muay Thai, Full Contact, Point Fighting, Light Contact, and K1 Light, making it one of the most important events in the European kickboxing calendar.
