Bulgarian MotoX Star Dan Tsankov Secures More Wins in Europe
Bulgarian motocross talent Dan Tsankov has notched up another success in the Eastern European Motocross Championship. Competing in the MX2 class, Tsankov won two races in the second round of the BMU European championship held in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey.
The Bulgarian rider outperformed more than 30 competitors and finished in first place in both races. Tsankov has maintained his lead in the overall standings since the beginning of the championship, boasting a perfect score of 100 points after four races.
“I am happy that I managed to show my best and achieve my goal of winning both races in Turkey. Everything was in order, and I felt great throughout on my Yamaha. I am pleased that things are developing in the best possible way for me from the start of the season,” Tsankov stated.
The next race for the Bulgarian pilot will be the Republican Motocross Championship. The event will take place on June 13 and 14 at Tsankov's home track in Pernik, where he is also leading the current standings in the MX2 class.
