Sofia. The victory of DARA in the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest was not a surprise but a well-deserved recognition of talent, emotion, and strong Bulgarian presence on stage. This was announced by Culture Minister Evtim Milosev in a BNT broadcast of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov."

"For me, the victory is not unexpected because, in the end, this is a song contest. The song, DARA's choice as the performer, the overall impact before the final night, and the way the semifinal was handled, all showed that this success was no coincidence," commented Minister Milosev.

He shared that the result proved that talent and artistry led the way, despite numerous comments and speculations around the contest.

The minister personally congratulated DARA, the creative team, and Bulgarian National Television for their efforts and professionalism, which led to the historic success and Bulgaria hosting Eurovision in 2027.

"This was a fantastic and unforgettable evening. Such a European platform puts the spotlight on the younger generation and contemporary Bulgarian culture," emphasized Minister Milosev.

He believes that the success of the young performer will contribute to greater international visibility of Bulgarian culture and unite Bulgarians both at home and around the world.

The topic was also commented on by Tourism Minister Ilin Dimitrov, who congratulated the singer via a Facebook post.

"Perfect performance and well-deserved victory! Bulgaria needs young, vibrant, and talented people who can be role models and inspire. I am convinced that we will soon see DARA becoming a global star," he noted.

According to him, hosting Eurovision 2027 in Bulgaria will be an exceptional opportunity to promote our country, tourism, and culture to millions of viewers worldwide.
