Bulgarian Goalkeeper Flamens Andreev Celebrates Polish Championship with Lech Poznan

The penultimate 33rd round of the Polish Ekstraklasa offered exceptional drama and determined a new champion. Lech Poznan, featuring Bulgarian goalkeeper Plamen Andreev, secured their title by defeating Radomiak 3-1. This victory allowed the Poznan giants to defend their title from the previous year, marking their historic 10th national title. Andreev, however, watched the match from the sidelines.

Earlier in the day, a thrilling soccer triller unfolded at the stadium in Lublin, where Motor and Krakowia drew 1-1 after an exciting 3-3 game. The Krakow visitors maintained control and led comfortably 3-1 until the 82nd minute, thanks to goals by Klich, Al-Amary, and Charpentier. However, the home team created a miracle in the final minutes. Karol Chubak reduced the score in the 88th minute, and Kacper Karasek exploded into the stands with the final 3-3 goal in the 91st minute. Bulgarian attacker Martin Minchev missed the match due to a suspension for accumulated yellow cards.

Górnik (Zabrze) secured a crucial victory with a 1-0 win against the fierce Visla (Płock) team. The two teams played a tough and tactical duel with few clear opportunities. The Ukrainian winger Maxim Khlan was the hero for the visitors, scoring in the 75th minute after an assist from Ambros. Local striker Borislaw Rupanov was in the Górnik squad but the coaching staff decided not to use him, and he watched the entire match from the bench.

After these matches, Lech Poznan leads the standings with 59 points, ensuring their championship. The surprising success of Górnik temporarily put them in second place with 53 points, intensifying the battle for European spots. Krakowia, meanwhile, is in 14th place with 41 points.
