This aggressive display has significantly boosted the standings for the top Bulgarian contenders, Nurgul Salimova and Nadia Toncheva, who both remain firmly within the top 15 players.
Salimova, a former World Cup finalist, is currently sharing third place in the overall classification. She sits just half a point behind the tournament leaders, putting her in prime position to challenge for the title in the final stages.
