Bulgarian Boxers Shine at Kosovo Tournament, Winning Nine Medals
Bulgarian boxers secured nine medals and a special team prize at the 18th International "Lah Nimani" boxing tournament in Pristina, Kosovo. The Bulgarian talent, led by coaches Alexander Alexandrov and Fikret Eredzhebov, showcased exceptional skill and left a strong impression, according to the Bulgarian Boxing Federation.
Gold medals were won by Georgi Galabov (55 kg), Ivan Hristov (65 kg), Ivailo Kolev (65 kg), Maxim Kyrylov (70 kg), and Jan Fikret (80 kg). Jan Fikret was also awarded the prize for the best boxer at the tournament. Silver medals were earned by Antonio Damyanov (60 kg), Oktyay Nazifov (50 kg), and Konstantin Damyanov (80 kg), while Jan Ahmedov (60 kg) took home a bronze medal.
Technical delegate for the competition was appointed by European Boxing—Svetoslav Sapundzhiev. Bulgaria was also represented among the international referees with Marin Yanev.
