Bulgaria Secures Three Finals Spots on First Day of World Cup

Bulgarian athletes have qualified for three finals on the first day of the World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Dimitar Dimitrov, Ryan Radkov, and Daniel Trifonov have reached the top eight in the floor, pommel horse, and rings events.

In the floor event qualifications, Dimitar Dimitrov secured a place among the finalists with a score of 12.750 points, ranking him sixth overall. Another Bulgarian competitor, Daniel Trifonov, missed the final by a narrow margin with 12.000 points, placing ninth and becoming the first reserve.

Trifonov, however, secured a spot in the rings final. The Levski-Spartak athlete, trained by coach Ilya Yanov, scored 12.250 points and placed seventh. In the same qualification, Yoan Ivanov finished 11th with a score of 11.650 points.

Ryan Radkov performed strongly in the pommel horse event. The gymnast, who has won three pommel horse titles this season in the Italian championship, qualified for the final with a fourth-place score of 13.500 points.

Daniel Trifonov, competing in five of the six events, finished 15th in the pommel horse with a score of 11.500 points.

Qualifications for the men's events will continue tomorrow with the vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar, while the women's events will feature floor and beam.
