Bulgaria Secures Nine Finals at World Cup in Tashkent

Bulgarian gymnasts have qualified for six more finals on the second day of the World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This brings their total number of finals to nine, a significant achievement in the international competition.

Individual Performances

The Bulgarian team has secured spots in several individual apparatus finals. Daniel Trifonov has qualified for the rings and vault finals. Jordan Alexandrov has qualified for the parallel bars final, while Dimitar Dimitrov has qualified for the vault final. Nikol Stoimenova has secured a place in the balance beam and floor exercise finals.

Men's Vault and Parallel Bars

In the men's vault, Trifonov led the pack with a score of 13.925, followed by Dimitrov with 13.375. On the parallel bars, Alexandrov secured fifth place with 12.900 points, while Yoan Ivanov finished 16th with 12.100 points. In the rings, Trifonov achieved eighth place with 12.800 points, and Alexandrov secured 11th with 11.850 points.

Women's Balance Beam and Floor Exercise

Nikol Stoimenova, making her World Cup finals debut, qualified for the balance beam and floor exercise finals with scores of 11.950 and 11.600, respectively.

Yesterday, Dimitar Dimitrov, Rayan Radkov, and Daniel Trifonov secured spots among the top eight in the floor exercise, pommel horse, and horizontal bar finals.
