Bulgaria's men's national volleyball team is set to depart for Poland to participate in the strong friendly tournament Silesia Cup, part of their preparation for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). As world vice-champions, they will face teams from Poland, Ukraine, and Serbia. The schedule is as follows:
May 20, 21:00 - Bulgaria vs. Ukraine (Arena Sosnowiec) - broadcast on Max Sport 1

May 23, 21:00 - Bulgaria vs. Poland (Spodek Arena) - broadcast on Max Sport 1
The team, led by Gianlorenzo Blanchini, will head to the Silesian Voivodeship with a squad of 14 players. Notably absent are Bulgaria's star players, Alex and Moni Nikолови, and captain Alex Grozdanov, who finished the previous year as the 2nd, 6th, and 8th best players in the world according to FIVB voting. They have recently concluded their club engagements and are getting some rest.
