Bulgaria once again boasts a tennis player in the world's top 100 doubles rankings. Alexander Donski, the national representative for the Davis Cup, made a significant breakthrough in the world ranking after winning the Challenger 100 tournament on clay in Oeiras, Portugal, with a prize fund of €160,680.

With this success, Donski earned 100 points, advancing six positions in the ATP ranking to reach a career-high 97th place with 851 points.

This is Donski's fourth Challenger series doubles title in his career and his second of 2026, following his championship in New Delhi, India.
