Born in Tuzla and now the owner of a well-known company and two popular restaurants in Munich, Damir Husejdić has made a significant impact on both the business and culinary scenes in Germany. His journey from a young entrepreneur in Bosnia and Herzegovina to a renowned businessman in Europe exemplifies the importance of hard work and discipline.

Husejdić started his business career at a young age, working in private businesses in BiH before moving to Sweden and Slovenia to gain international experience. "I grew up in a family where order, responsibility, and respect were daily principles. My father was a police officer, and my mother was a housewife. From a very young age, they taught me the right values that would mark my entire professional and personal life," Husejdić recalls.

Lived and Perfected Skills in Sweden

From 1999 to 2002, Husejdić lived and perfected his skills in Sweden, specializing in retail sales. Upon returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2002, he worked for the Slovenian corporation Mercator, further honing his skills in organization, management, and controlling business processes.

"From 2007 to 2013, I worked as a regional sales manager for known brands at Sam Shop in Sarajevo. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase all my expertise, and my practical experience and people management skills became even more robust," he adds.

A Turning Point in 2013

In 2013, Husejdić and his family relocated to Germany, where he opened a construction company and a Vermittlungs firm for medications. That same year, he and his brother opened a restaurant in Munich, which they developed into one of the most successful restaurants in Europe.

"In 2013, I also started my own meat and meat product production, with cevapi becoming my signature product. I worked on developing the recipe for almost a year until I established a quality that became recognizable in the market. My company, Cevapcici Company GmbH, quickly became one of the leading cevapi producers in Europe, earning me the title of 'Cevap King' among Balkan communities in Germany," Husejdić shares.

After over 12 years of development, his firm now supplies more than 250 hospitality venues in Germany and Austria, and over 3,000 retail outlets and supermarkets across Germany.
