New Identity for the Dragons

Following their remarkable playoff victories over Wales and Italy, the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has secured a historic second appearance at the FIFA World Cup. To mark this milestone, the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina unveiled a fresh kit collection designed specifically for the tournament hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The new gear, manufactured by Spanish brand Kelme, blends traditional motifs with modern athletic aesthetics.

The design, created by local designer Haris Stambolić, features vertical lines that symbolically represent the rivers flowing through the country. The home jersey is dominated by the team’s recognizable blue, while the away kit offers a crisp white base with subtle patterns. In a nod to regional identity, the white jersey features the word "Bosanac" while the blue home shirt displays "Hercegovka." Kelme spent nearly two months developing the "warrior" model, and the initial video reveal has already sparked widespread praise on social media.

Debut Against North Macedonia

The Dragons will wear the new kits for the first time on May 29 in a friendly match against North Macedonia at the Koševo Stadium. The national team gathered on May 23 to officially begin their World Cup preparations. After the home fixture, the squad will travel to the United States for a final tune-up game against Panama on June 6. The World Cup runs from June 11 to July 19.

Fans have responded enthusiastically to the new visual identity, noting that it perfectly captures the energy and fighting spirit of the team. The Football Federation accompanied the launch with a powerful message: "For matches that remain in memory. For moments that unite the entire country. For support that lasts for generations."

World Cup Group Stage Schedule

Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in a group featuring host nation Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland. Their campaign begins on June 12 in Toronto with a match against Canada. Six days later, on June 18, they will face Switzerland in Los Angeles. The group stage concludes on June 24 in Seattle with a crucial fixture against Qatar. The team aims to carry the momentum from their playoff success into this major tournament.
