According to Fanatik, President Serdal Adalı and his advisors have been analyzing the tactical understanding, career history, and financial terms of potential coaches in detail. Beşiktaş had previously considered names like Dino Toppmöller, Ange Postecoglou, Razvan Lucescu, and Oliver Glasner. They had also made contact with the German coach Dino Toppmöller.
