"It's extraordinary that we managed to rise to second place and qualify for the UEFA Europa League," he said in a post-match interview with PrimaSport.
He also congratulated Universitatea Cluj for securing a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers, noting that the Cluj team had started the match with a strong press, taking the lead with two goals within the first nine minutes.
"They were better today, congratulations to Craiova. It's a great achievement, and I'm thrilled that we've made it to the Europa League," Bergodi added, acknowledging the team's superior performance.
Despite the strong start from Universitatea Cluj, Bergodi praised his team's resilience, saying, "It's hard to come back from being 0-2 down after just 10 minutes. But we managed to secure the championship, and that's what matters."
