Bansko will host two World Cup parallel giant slalom events in alpine snowboarding on January 16 and 17, as per the provisional calendar awaiting approval from the international federation.
The season for Bulgarian snowboarders kicks off with two parallel slaloms in the Chinese resort of Shenzhen on November 27 and 28. Following this, there will be parallel giant slaloms in Maylin, China, on December 5 and 6.
Next up are two parallel giant slaloms in the Italian resorts of Cortina on December 12 and Carezza on the 17th. The schedule then moves to Switzerland for a slalom in Davos on December 19 and a giant slalom in St. Moritz on January 9.
After Bansko, the action shifts to Rogla in Slovenia for a giant slalom on January 23. On January 26 and 27, a slalom and a mixed team event will take place in Bad Gastein, Austria.
A host location is sought for a giant slalom in the period of February 12 to 14. Giant slaloms will also be held in Krynik, Poland, on February 27 and 28. The World Championship will be held in the Austrian resort of Montafon from March 7 to 10. The season will conclude, as tradition dictates, in Winterberg, Germany, with a parallel slalom and a mixed team event.
The calendar explicitly notes that the events in both Chinese resorts and Rogla are not confirmed. All other events are confirmed.
