Spanish footballer Iago Aspas has renewed his contract with Celta de Vigo for another season, extending his tenure until 2029, the club announced today. Aspas, 38, has signed a contract that will see him remain with Celta until the end of the 2028-2029 season.

Iago Aspas began his career with Celta de Vigo before playing for Liverpool and Sevilla. He returned to Celta in 2014 and has since become a club legend. Aspas holds the record for the most appearances for Celta, with 571 matches played, and is the club's top goalscorer with 222 goals and 90 assists.
