The players of Arsenal secured their first English league title in 22 years after Bournemouth drew with City (1-1) at the Vitality stadium. This means that the Gunners now lead by four points over the Citizens heading into the final matchday. It is interesting to note that Andoni Iraola (43), Bournemouth's coach, and Mikel Arteta (44), Arsenal's strategy director, were teammates in their youth.
Arteta and Iraola both played together in the amateur club Antiguoko in San Sebastian, founded in 1982. Both players had successful careers and are now at the top of the coaching world.

Iraola became a legend for Bilbao, playing 514 matches before joining New York City in his twilight years. He played seven times for the Spanish national team as a right back. As a coach, he previously led AEK Larnaca, Mirandes, and Rayo Vallecano. After this season, he will leave Bournemouth, but his future remains uncertain.
Arteta, as a player, was a central midfielder for Barcelona, Real Sociedad, PSG, Rangers, Arsenal, and Everton. However, he never played for the Spanish national team. Before becoming Arsenal's head coach, he assisted Pep Guardiola at <Manchester City> from 2016 to 2019.
