Aleksandar Sani Aranitović, a former player for Partizan and Zvezda, has decided to stay with his Spanish club, Breogán, for a third consecutive year after extending his contract.
The news has been officially announced on the ACB league website, leaving no doubt about Aranitović's future with Breogán. He recently gained attention when he helped the team defeat Real Madrid in the Spanish capital, marking Breogán's first triumph in over two decades in the prestigious league. This season, Aranitović has averaged 7.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game for Breogán.
Aranitović began his career with Zvezda from 2015 to 2017, and then moved to Partizan from 2017 to 2019. He has also played for Megi, ADA Bloa in France, Hiros Den Boš in the Netherlands, Mladost Zemun in Serbia, Alitus Džukija in Lithuania, and Cibona in Croatia before joining Breogán. With the Serbian youth national team, he won silver at the European Championship for players under 16 in Ukraine in 2013 and bronze at the World Championship U17 in the United Arab Emirates in 2014.
