Antalyaspor's technical director Sami Uğurlu expressed profound disappointment after the final round of the Süper Lig. Despite winning 1-0 against Kocaelispor at their home ground, Antalyaspor was relegated from the league.

Uğurlu, speaking at a press conference following the match at Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium, said, "It was a night filled with tragedy for us. We are very sad."

Uğurlu acknowledged that Kocaelispor had prepared well for the match, stating, "We did what we needed to do, but it was not enough. We fought hard, and we left victorious, but it wasn't enough. The scores we were hoping for did not come from other matches. We had hoped, but it didn't happen. It was a tragic night for us."

Reflecting on the season, Uğurlu took personal responsibility for the team's relegation, saying, "We did our best, but it wasn't enough. We couldn't avoid relegation, which was not dependent on anyone else. We made mistakes, and we must take responsibility for the team's relegation. I always took this responsibility on myself. I will not talk about transfers or other issues. We tried our best under the conditions we were in, and it could have been better, but our strength was unfortunately not enough. We should not have reached the final round."
