Former Partizan coach Andrea Trinkijeri, known for his time with the Serbian club, is making headlines in Italy once again. Trinkijeri left a significant mark on Belgrade during his tenure, particularly due to his near-perfect Serbian language skills.

Trinkijeri is now in a different role as a savior, causing a stir throughout Italy. The reason is the relocation of a basketball club from his hometown of Cremona to Rome, threatening to leave the town without a team or a place for children to train, as the youth categories would disband.

However, Andrea Trinkijeri stepped in and saved the situation. He is deeply connected to basketball in his hometown and rallied the local community to prevent a disaster.

Thanks to his activism, 250 young players in Cremona will continue to play basketball without any issues. All that remains is for the "young ones" to sign up and respond to the call of the former Partizan coach.

In any case, Trinkijeri's move is being extensively discussed in Italy these days.
