Amorim Set to Replace Mourinho at Benfica

Rúben Amorim is the favorite to become the next manager of Benfica. He has been without a club since the beginning of the year when he was let go from Manchester United. Amorim, a former player for "the Eagles," is expected to return to Portugal after his exceptionally successful stint at Sporting Lisbon, which prompted the leadership of "the Red Devils" to hire him.

Jose Mourinho is leaving Benfica to take over at Real Madrid. According to Spanish media, he informed the Portuguese club's leadership yesterday that he was leaving. At a meeting with Benfica president Rui Costa, Mourinho was offered a new contract, which he declined.
