Aleksandar Katai has been officially named the best player of the Mozzart Bet Superliga for the season that has just ended. In a traditional poll organized by "Mozzart Sport" and the Superliga Club Association, the popular "Magiko" secured a convincing victory, leaving his competition far behind.

Out of a total of 30 possible votes (trainers and captains of the 16 clubs could not vote for players from their own teams), Katai received an incredible 27 votes. This recognition comes after a season where the experienced ace experienced a "second youth," leading Red Star to a double crown and progress in Europe.

Katai will end the season as the top scorer in the league, currently having 24 goals (with one match left), and has entered the club's history as the second-best scorer in the club's history. Alongside Katai, Rade Krunić also received votes (two votes), while Vasilije Kostov, Silvester Džasper, and Zoran Popović each received one vote.

The votes for Džasper came from Dejan Stanković, while Mirko Ivanić voted for Popović. Partizan coach Srđan Blagojević and Miroslav Tanjga named Radeta Krunić as the best player, and Jovan Damjanović, the coach of OFK Belgrade, voted for Kostov. All others clearly stated - Katai!

It's worth noting that Kostov was selected as the best young player of the Superliga, while Radovan Koković was named the best coach.
