Konstantinos Ketzetzioglou, AEK's chief reporter, provided insight into the club's post-title party and the anticipated transfers following their recent match against Olympiacos. Ketzetzioglou spoke on the bwin SPORT FM 94.6 radio show.

The reporter highlighted the massive crowd at New Philadelphia, with tens of thousands of AEK fans inside and outside the Allwyn Arena, creating a historic scene. However, there was chaos at the stadium gates, with some fans entering without tickets, leaving others who had purchased tickets or season passes outside.

The Party and Unity at AEK

Ketzetzioglou expressed a very positive sentiment about the party. He described the evening as impressive, with drone shows and videos displayed inside the stadium. He also noted the sense of unity that permeated the event. Special mention was made of Mario Iliopoulos, the club’s executive leader, who was praised for his passionate involvement and trust in his team.

The Match Against Olympiacos and Future Transfers

Regarding the 1-1 draw against Olympiacos, Ketzetzioglou noted that AEK struggled in the first half without Varga but improved upon his entry, leading to the equalizer by Kouta. He also emphasized that AEK completed their playoff process undefeated, a rare and significant achievement.

In terms of transfers, Ketzetzioglou believes AEK will make more than just three or four moves. He highlighted the need for high-quality additions, including a top-level striker, a versatile central midfielder, a right-back, and possibly a left-back if there is a departure. The club will build on a strong foundation and seek the right additions to move forward.
