Vojvodina secured second place in the Serbian Superliga before the final round, following a 2:1 victory over OFK Beograd on Karaburma. This result was confirmed after Partizan’s 0:0 draw with Čukarički on Banovo brdo.
Vojvodina now has 73 points, securing second place on the table. Partizan, with 70 points, is in third place. Despite the possibility of gaining three points in the final round, the Partizan team can no longer climb to second place.
The reason for this is the Serbian Superliga's regulations, which stipulate that a team finishing with a better ranking in the regular season will come ahead in the event of a tie.
This means that the final matches, Vojvodina vs. Novi Pazar and Partizan vs. Radnik Surdulica, will have no impact on the final standings.
This means that Red Star will go to the Champions League with 86 points. Vojvodina, with 73 points, will be in second place and qualify for the Europa League. Partizan, in third place with 70 points, and Železničar, in fourth place with 58 points, will go to the Conference League.
Novi Pazar (52), OFK Beograd (46), Radnik Surdulica (46), and Čukarički (44) will not be competing in European competitions this season.
