Bucharest Unveils Michael Jackson Memorial

In Bucharest, a memorial dedicated to Michael Jackson has been unveiled in the capital's largest park, "King Michael I," formerly known as "Herăstrău." The memorial, located on King Carol Boulevard, was opened in September 2009.

The memorial plaque, featuring a black-and-white design, symbolizes the breaking down of racial barriers in music. This tribute stands as a testament to Jackson's influence and the enduring impact of his music across different cultures and communities.

The park, now named in honor of Romania's former king, King Michael I, provides a fitting location for the memorial, as it attracts numerous visitors and serves as a significant landmark in the city.
