The TSC players had their survival in their hands. They led 1-0 against Radnički Niš, but the visitors shockingly turned the game around in the second half, leaving Sivić's team fighting for survival in the final round.

TSC dominated and controlled the first half, but a series of home team errors led to a collapse in the second half. Radnički equalized from a penalty and then TSC practically gifted the second goal to Niš, securing their survival.

Tomislav Sivić, the coach of the Bačka Topola team, was angry at the referees after this difficult defeat:

- The first part of the match was our control, where we should have scored another goal. In the second half, they came out stronger, we didn't win any balls, we couldn't calm down the passes. We are paying for some things, like after the first match, we are falling physically the worst, we have no answer. Everything came together, some players are just coming back from injuries, those who returned earlier are tired. As for the officials, I really can't comment, I won't stoop that low.
