The best tennis player of all time, Novak Djokovic, is heading to this year's Roland Garros in a situation we are not used to seeing. With only one match on clay and no titles won this season, Djokovic will be chasing his 25th Grand Slam in Paris, but legendary coach Aleks Kovač warns that his experience may not be enough this time.

Spanish expert and former finalist in the tournament in the Bois de Boulogne, Kovač emphasizes that Djokovic's success directly depends on his physical condition, which has been questionable over the past few months.

Kovač analyzed Djokovic's decision not to play much before Paris for "TNT Sports," noting that the Serbian ace decided to skip Geneva this year (unlike in some previous seasons) and head directly to the French pre-tournament.

- I'm not sure how he feels physically. It's not easy to go from almost zero matches to playing three sets on clay. He has experience, but at Roland Garros, physicality has to follow. If he is ready, I think there are no more than five players in the entire draw who can beat him. But if he's not at 10.00 percent, then he can lose to anyone, as tennis has become brutal today - Kovač was clear.

Djokovic, after an early exit in Rome, admitted that the situation is not ideal. Shoulder problems and minor injuries have become part of his daily routine at 37 years old.

- This is a new reality I have to deal with. It's frustrating, but it's my decision to keep playing in these conditions. The preparations were not ideal, I don't remember when I last came to a tournament without any physical issues. There's always something - the best of all time was candid.

Recall, Roland Garros starts on May 24, and the entire world's eyes will be on Djokovic – will his experience and incredible willpower overcome the "new reality" and clay court, which has become a serious rival for the first time in his career?
