Dead Dolphin Bodies Wash Ashore Near Varna Beaches

Several dead dolphin bodies have washed up on beaches near Varna, prompting an alert to the Regional Inspectorate for Water, Forests, and Environmental Protection (RIOSV). The incidents have raised concerns about the health of the marine ecosystem in the Black Sea.

Yesterday, three dead dolphins were found on the beach at Asparuhovo. Initial examinations did not reveal any visible injuries on the carcasses. The day before, a dead baby dolphin was discovered on the central beach.

The RIOSV was immediately notified, and environmental inspectors have conducted an investigation to determine the cause of death and assess the situation. The discovery of multiple dead dolphins suggests potential environmental issues or other factors affecting marine life in the region.
