Students from Vladicin Han Technical School achieved significant success at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) national finals held in Subotica. They secured a spot in the prestigious international robotics competition, following a proud tradition of excellence.
The team named "Robohan1," comprising Maksim Mladenović, Neda Mitić, and Aleksandar Trajković, won first place and a ticket to the World Championship in Puerto Rico. Their mentor is Mlađan Mladenović.
The team "Robohan2," consisting of Konstantin Jovanović, Lena Petrović, and Mateja Jovanović, earned second place and a spot at the European competition in Zagreb under the guidance of mentor Nebojša Mladenović.
Slađan Đorđević, the director of the Technical School, expressed immense pride in the students and mentors and emphasized the need for sponsor support to continue their journey at European and world events.
In recent years, the students have consistently been among the best robotics teams in Serbia and have achieved high rankings in international competitions. Their exceptional results have even brought them invitations to visit China, where they exchanged knowledge with their peers and scientists.
These kids are absolute geniuses! It's amazing to see such talent coming out of Vladicin Han. But let's be honest, without the financial support, their journey could be cut short. What can we do to help?
