Serbian boxers have achieved an extraordinary result at the 63rd International "Beogradski Pobednik" tournament in Obrenovac, securing nine spots in the finals and a total of 15 medals ahead of the final day of competition.
In the women's category, finalists include Nina Radovanović (up to 51 kg), Natalija Šadrina (up to s60 kg), Anastasija Lukajić (up to 65 kg), Milena Matović and Nikolina Gajić (both up to 70 kg), as well as Sara Miljković (+80 kg).
Nina Radovanović dominated her Hungarian opponent, Laura Horvat, with a score of 4:1. In the final, she will face Bulgaria's Zlatislava Čukanova, a rematch of one of the most intriguing matches from the 2024 European Championship in Belgrade.
Natalija Šadrina also had an excellent performance, controlling her match against Turkish Ervin Edinguz and winning by a split decision. She will compete for gold against experienced Italian Irma Teste.
In the up to 70 kg category, the Serbian public will witness a national final between Milena Matović and Nikolina Gajić, ensuring another highlight for Serbia.
In the men's category, finalists include Artur Ngapetjan (up to 55 kg), Almir Memić, and Jovan Nikolić (both up to 75 kg).
