This year, the Serbian band "Lavina" is representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Kraj mene." They have successfully made it to the finals and will perform as the 9th act. Another finalist, Dara from Bulgaria, will also be on stage with her song "Bangaranga." Interestingly, one of Dara's costumes for a music video was crafted by Marija, the girlfriend of Luka Aranđelović, the lead singer of "Lavina."
Marija, an artist who has been in a relationship with Luka for some time, shared her creative process on TikTok, showcasing the work she did on the costume. This collaboration highlights the supportive and collaborative spirit among artists from the region, even before they meet on the Eurovision stage.
On her social media, Marija documented the creative process behind this unique piece, emphasizing that the task of designing the costume for the Bulgarian singer was a significant challenge but also an honor. Dara, known for her eccentric style, perfectly incorporated the hand-painted dress into her performance.
Luka Teaches Music in Bujanovac
Luka Aranđelović, the lead singer of "Lavina," teaches classical guitar at a lower music school in Bujanovac. His students surprised him after his victory at the "Song for Eurovision" competition.
"I work at a lower music school in Bujanovac, teaching classical guitar to children. Working with children is both challenging and rewarding. I love to share my knowledge, and I can't say I don't enjoy this profession. My job is to awaken talent in children, and sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I don't." Luka explained the reason for his daily commute to Bujanovac simply and honestly: "When I finished university, I didn't have a job, and the opportunity arose to go there, so I accepted it."
