Family from Kочevо Village Loses Savings to Theft
A family from the village of Kочevо, near Sadovo, has fallen victim to a theft after keeping their savings in a box with the key left on top. The woman of the household, who worked as a social assistant in Germany for nine years, had saved up 10,500 euros, which were stolen from their home.
The family recently purchased a box to store their hard-earned savings. Unfortunately, the key was left on top of the box, making it an easy target for a thief. The woman, who worked in Germany for nearly a decade and periodically returned to Bulgaria, had accumulated the savings over time.
Authorities are investigating the theft. The perpetrator has been apprehended, and efforts are underway to return the stolen money to the family.
