Police forces are continuing their search around Jarkovac Lake for the body of Aleksandar Nešović, who was murdered on May 12th in a restaurant in Beograd. Nešović, known as Baja and linked to the "Kekin Group," was killed during a meeting at the restaurant, where the former head of the Belgrade police Veselin Milić was also present. Milić was later arrested and replaced.

The suspects allegedly meticulously planned the murder and attempted to remove evidence after the crime. The search involves military police and divers, combing both the lake and the surrounding rugged terrain.

Crime Scene Details

According to public prosecution, Nešović was lured to the meeting by Milić, who suggested they resolve their differences without security. Upon arrival, Nešović noticed the suspects' vehicles and initially decided not to enter the restaurant, informing his friend. However, he eventually returned and entered the restaurant, where he met with Saša V., Mario S., and Veselin Milić.

During the meeting, Saša V. allegedly shot Nešović multiple times. The weapon used in the shooting was reportedly provided by Danka V., who passed it to Mario S., who then handed it to Saša V. upon arrival at the restaurant.

After the shooting, Dejan S. aided the perpetrators in their escape, driving them to various locations. Nešović's missing body was reported by his common-law wife, who last heard from him at the restaurant, after which his phone was turned off.

The crime scene at the restaurant revealed traces of blood and two fired bullet casings, indicating a cover-up attempt.
