Turkish cinema icon Kadir İnanır was admitted to a hospital late last night after suddenly falling ill. Following the realization of his condition by his close associates, the actor was taken to a hospital in Beşiktaş. After initial treatment in the emergency room, doctors decided to place İnanır in the intensive care unit for further medical attention.

The hospital released an update on the actor's health status.

Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Görgen, the head of the hospital, shared the following details about İnanır's health:

"Our patient, Kadir İnanır, who was brought to our hospital last night, has been admitted to the intensive care unit due to respiratory distress caused by pneumonia. His treatment is ongoing under intensive care conditions without the need for intubation. Non-invasive respiratory support is being provided. Our patient's overall condition is being closely monitored. A partial improvement in his clinical condition has been observed since yesterday. He will continue to be monitored in the intensive care unit for some time."
