In the eve of May 17th – Bulgaria’s National Sports Day, Red Beach transformed into a scene of champions, history, and inspiration. With much emotion, pride, and gratitude, the exhibition "Personalities and Events in Bulgarian Sports" was inaugurated. Organized by the Association "Reach the Limit" in collaboration with the Red Beach Municipality, the event marked a significant milestone in the sports community.

The city welcomed the sixth edition of the impressive exhibition, which has already garnered significant interest in Varna, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Burgas, and Yambol. Red Beach became the first non-district community center to host this prestigious exhibition – a symbol of respect for sports, talent, and the human spirit.

More than 400 unique exhibits told stories of dreams, hard work, victories, and national pride. Visitors had the opportunity to come into contact with sports equipment, medals, awards, and priceless items signed by Olympic, world, and European champions. Among the names inspiring generations of Bulgarians are Grigor Dimitrov, Hristo Stoichkov, Dimitar Berbatov, Stanica Zlatova, Armen Nazaryan, Iveta Goranova, Madlen Radukanova, Matei Kaziski, and Carlos Nasar, among many other stars of Bulgarian sports.

Particularly stirring were the exhibits related to the legendary national football team from the 1994 World Cup – a golden page in Bulgaria’s history. Among the most valuable items were artifacts from the world sports scene, such as part of Michael Jordan’s equipment, a javelin signed by Carl Lewis, and new additions related to the stars of "Milan" and "Juventus."

Among those present, honoring the mayor’s invitation, were the president of the Municipal Council, municipal councilors, Giuseppe De Francesco – the honorary consul of the Republic of Italy, the "Golden Girl" of Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics Reneta Kamberova, president of the Bulgarian federation of majorette and baton twirling Julia Mumjiieva, Olympic champion in karate Iveta Goranova, Olympic, world, and European champion in weightlifting Carlos Nasar, the legend of Bulgarian boxing Yosif Panov, representatives of sports clubs, teachers, students, and citizens.

"Every exhibit has its own story. A story of a dream," shared Dr. Denislava Angelova – the president of the Association "Reach the Limit." She expressed gratitude to all athletes who supported the organization’s causes, as well as to the Red Beach Municipality team for their partnership and dedication to initiatives related to sports and young people.

"Dr. Denislava Angelova did everything possible to make Red Beach the host of this wonderful exhibition. It can inspire even more young people to pursue their dreams. I wish a maximum number of our fellow citizens to come into contact with these authentic items associated with the history of Bulgarian sports," said Mayor Atanas Atanasov.

Following the official opening, there was a ceremonial awarding of distinguished young athletes from Red Beach who achieved success in school, national, republican, and international competitions and tournaments. A moment filled with pride, applause, and hope for the future of Bulgarian sports.

The event left a strong emotional impression and turned into a stirring celebration of the sports spirit – a day when champions inspired the young, history came alive, and Red Beach showed that it preserves and honors its heroes.
