The police are conducting a large-scale search at Jarkovac Lake for the body of Aleksandar Nešović. Heavy police presence is deployed in the area as the search continues.
The car believed to have been used for transporting Nešović’s body was found in the village of Putinci yesterday. However, Nešović’s body remains undiscovered.
The murder of Nešović occurred on the night of May 12, around 11 PM, when he arrived at the "Restaurant 27" in his black armored BMW X7. According to the prosecution, Nešović was invited to this meeting by Veselin Milić, a former chief of Belgrade police, to discuss their mutual disagreements and was advised to come without protection.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, Nešović noticed suspicious vehicles and initially decided not to enter the establishment. After a phone call with Saša V., with whom he had recently been in conflict, he returned to the restaurant ten minutes later and sat down with Saša V., Mario S., and Veselin Milić.
Saša's Involvement
The prosecution has reported that Saša V. allegedly fired several shots at Nešović following the discussion. The gun used in the shooting was reportedly provided by Danka V., who handed it over to Mario S., who then delivered it to Saša V. upon arriving at the restaurant.
Cover-Up and Escape
According to the prosecution, the suspects attempted to cover up the crime and fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing as the police continue their search for Nešović’s body.
