Partizan is reportedly in pursuit of Mijajlo Marsenić, the captain of the Serbian handball team, as they build their roster for the upcoming season. The ambitious club, led by coach Raul Gonzales, sees Marsenić's experience as a key component of their project.

Marsenić, who has been playing for Berlin for eight years, has expressed a desire to return to the club where he gained recognition. However, he emphasizes that the decision is not solely up to him and Partizan.

"It's no secret that Partizan would like me to return and it's no secret that I would like to, but... it's not just up to me and Partizan. I first need to talk to my current club to see what their plans are for me. Once I return to Berlin, I will have more time to figure out what's best and then we will make a joint decision. Ultimately, the decision I make with my family will be the best for us," Marsenić told "Mozzartsport" after Serbia's performance at the World Championship.

In the meantime, Partizan has assembled a respectable roster for the upcoming season, demonstrating their significant ambitions. After winning three domestic trophies, the team from Hum will now face Vojvodina in the playoff finals.
