In a dramatic turn of events, Panaitolikos managed to overturn a deficit against Atromitos, securing a 2-1 victory after a thrilling second half. The match saw early momentum in favor of Atromitos, who opened the scoring in the 7th minute through a well-executed play by Okaki, finishing off by Chuber for the 1-0 lead.

Panaitolikos, however, didn't let the setback discourage them. After the halftime break, they intensified their efforts and changed the course of the game. In the 51st minute, Matau equalized following his entrance into the match with a beautiful finish inside the penalty area. Shortly after, Panaitolikos was awarded a penalty kick through VAR review after Bakou fouled Garcia.

Garcia stepped up to take the penalty and converted it in the 62nd minute, putting Panaitolikos ahead 2-1 and completing the comeback. Despite Atromitos' attempts to respond and finding the net just before the hour mark, their goal was disallowed for offside after a VAR check.

The result gives Panaitolikos a significant boost in their promotion race, while Atromitos remains without a victory despite starting the season with a promising performance.
