OFI is preparing for one of the most significant European appearances in its modern history, having already secured substantial economic benefits from its participation in UEFA tournaments. The Cretan team will enter the Europa League playoffs as Greek Cup winners, ensuring at least a spot in the Conference League’s League Phase. Participation alone is expected to bring around €3.17 million to the club's coffers, without counting bonuses from wins, draws, or potential advances.

Additionally, there will be further income from the value pillar, which relates to broadcasting rights and the overall commercial value of the competition. While the amount is not expected to reach last year’s levels achieved by AEK, it is estimated to add significant economic benefit to the Cretan team. The main goal now for OFI is to advance to the League Phase of the Europa League, where guaranteed funds rise to €4.31 million, excluding additional bonuses for results and standings.

Even participating in the playoffs brings an additional €170,000, highlighting how crucial this European run is for OFI’s economic and competitive future.
