Gigi Nețoiu and Victor Pițurcă took a break from their business and football pursuits to enjoy some fishing, and their catch quickly went viral on social media. The former Romanian national team coach and the businessman ventured to Bălta cu Izvoare Naturale in Cetate, where they reeled in an impressive carp weighing approximately 30 kilograms.

The image of the two men posing with the massive fish quickly caught the attention of social media users. "Piti, on a visit to Bălta cu Izvoare Naturale in Cetate! Impressive catch: a 30 KG fish! Beautiful moments, quality people, and genuine passion for fishing," was the message posted.

In recent years, Victor Pițurcă and Gigi Nețoiu have grown increasingly close, with the former coach appearing frequently in the business projects developed by the businessman. Pițurcă was even present at the inauguration of Nețoiu's Black Angus cattle farm in Oltenia, an enterprise that impressed him greatly.

At the time, the former national team coach acknowledged that he was speechless when he saw what his friend had accomplished in just a few months. Gigi Nețoiu tried to convince Victor Pițurcă to join him in the cattle farm business, but the former coach refused. He admitted sincerely that he did not understand such a business and preferred not to get involved in something he did not master.

However, the former coach says he often visits Nețoiu's farm for relaxation and to enjoy the peace of the area. "What Nețoiu managed to do in such a short time is incredible," he noted.

(n.r: He's changed a lot, he's not the Gigi Nețoiu you used to know, he's much calmer.) Calm? No, you're mistaken, you see him too infrequently. Imagine, in the span of 6-7 months, on 200 hectares, he did what he did here. He wasn't calm at all. On the contrary, from dawn till dusk, he was extremely nervous.

(n.r: Would you like to build a farm like his?) For me, it's too late. What I don't master, I don't get involved in. Of course, we had daily discussions to come and be by his side, but I don't understand it, it's better for me to stay calm. I come once, twice, three times a month here, I relax, nothing more," Victor Pițurcă declared at the time.
