NBA Players Believe Giannis Antetokounmpo Will Start New Season with Milwaukee Bucks

Amid speculation about a possible transfer of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, many of his colleagues in the league expect him to begin the next season with the "Buckies."
Rumors about the future of the two-time MVP have intensified as the season nears its end, with many predicting he has already played his last game for Milwaukee. However, Greek basketball player Antetokounmpo's exact whereabouts for the 2026-27 season remain uncertain, despite having an active contract with Milwaukee.
Despite the rumors, it appears that NBA players are not convinced he will leave the team before the start of the next campaign. In a survey conducted by The Athletic among 151 league players, the question was posed about where they believe Antetokounmpo will start the next season. Surprisingly, almost half of the surveyed players—45.7%—stated they believe he will stay with the Bucks.
The second most likely destination is Miami Heat with 23.2% of the votes, followed by New York Knicks with 16.6%.
