Napredak has finally secured a long-awaited victory, defeating Spartak in Subotica with a score of 0-3, marking their most successful match of the season. "The smile finally returned to the players' faces. What’s important is that we played a very good match against Spartak. The boys adhered to all the requirements, applied everything we practiced during training, and rightfully won. Now we face a duel with a very high-quality opponent, experienced, individually strong, and attack-oriented. We are preparing to neutralize all their strengths and exploit their weaknesses. I expect a good match and for my team to be at the right level, as they were in Subotica," said head coach Saša Mićović.
Before the match with Spartak, striker Andrija Majdevac was injured, and in his place, young Uroš Sremčević played and delivered a noteworthy performance. "Even though the match against Spartak wasn’t of great competitive significance, the win means a lot to us. We dominated throughout the game, rightfully triumphed, and now we await the Kragujevčani in excellent spirits. We are aware of their qualities, they have excellent individuals, especially in attack, but there’s no surrender. We are professionals, we will do the remaining two matches to the best of our ability, and there’s room for optimism again," concluded Uroš Sremčević.
In addition to the injured Majdevac, Bukorac is also not in contention due to accumulated yellow cards. At the last match of the season in Kruševac, the stadium gates will be wide open, and the arrival of Kragujevčani supporters is expected. Free tickets can be obtained at the main ticket office on Saturday from 4 PM.
