Croatia's coach Zlatko Dalic has announced the squad for the 2026 World Cup, where the team will face England, Panama, and Ghana in Group E. Among the 26 confirmed players is 40-year-old Luka Modrić, who will play in his sixth consecutive World Cup, a record for the tournament. The squad includes several veterans like Dominik Livaković, Mateo Kovačić, Mario Pasalić, Ivan Perišić, and Andrej Kramarić, as well as younger stars such as Josko Gvardiol, Martin Bušina, and Petar Sušić. The only player selected who has yet to play for the national team is third goalkeeper Ivor Pandur.

In addition to the main squad, Dalic has listed seven reserve players who could be called up if any of the selected players are injured. These reserve players include Lovro Maer, Franjo Ivanović, Dion Beljo, Ivan Šmolić, Karlo Letica, Adrian Šegedić, and Luka Stojković. Before the World Cup, Croatia will play two warm-up matches against Belgium and Slovenia.
