Police have launched an extensive manhunt for the body of Aleksandar Nešović, who was murdered on May 12 at a restaurant in Belgrade’s Senjak neighborhood. Nešović was lured to the restaurant under the pretense of resolving a dispute, but a confrontation ensued, and he was shot multiple times by Saša V. The body has not been found.

The case has led to the arrest of ten individuals, including former Belgrade police chief Veselin Milić, who is suspected of covering up the crime. Milić, along with three police officers, a waiter, and the restaurant owner, have been detained. The investigation indicates that Dejan S. helped the suspects flee after the shooting by driving them from Šapac to Dobrodol Lake and eventually to Stara Pazova.
Extensive Search in Vojvodina
Intensive searches have been conducted in several locations, including Senjak, Šapac, and Dobrodol Lake. Forensic teams and investigators have examined a Volkswagen car found at a parking lot in Ljukovo. The search has also extended to Jarkovačko Lake.
Murder in the Restaurant
The murder occurred around 11 PM on May 12 when Nešović arrived at the "Restoran 27" in Senjak. He was invited by Veselin Milić, who suggested they resolve their differences without security. Nešović initially hesitated but eventually entered the restaurant and met with Saša V., Mario S., and Veselin Milić. Saša V. reportedly shot Nešović multiple times.
Cover-Up and Escape
The investigation reveals that after the shooting, Dejan S. helped the attackers escape by driving them to various locations. The restaurant, where traces of blood and two 9mm cartridges were found, was thoroughly searched by police.
