Manchester United has seemingly resolved its coaching conundrum!

According to renowned insider Fabricio Romano, the club from "Old Trafford" has decided to retain Michael Carrick and is preparing a multi-year contract for him.

Former midfielder and legend of the "Red Devils," Carrick arrived as an interim solution amid a turbulent season, but he has completely won over the club's management with his results.

Romano reports that Carrick will sign a deal lasting until the end of the 2027/28 season, with the option of extending it for an additional year.

The former England representative has rejuvenated the team since taking over in mid-January. Under his leadership, United has vaulted to third place in the Premier League, and fans are once again optimistic that the club can return to the pinnacle of English football.

The numbers speak for themselves – Carrick has secured ten victories in his first 15 league matches, with three draws and only two losses.

His return to the big stage is particularly pleasing to United fans, as it concerns a man who left a deep mark on "Old Trafford" as a player. In the famous club's jersey, he played 464 matches and won virtually everything that could be won.

Now, he will have the chance to do the same as a coach, and United's executives clearly believe that he is the man to bring the club back on track.
